News Updates

Goings on

We've just about survived the winter!  Cleveland's cold and ice can't keep hackers down.

We've started to revamp the space a bit, getting things organized.  Along with that, we'll have a Reprap built before too long, and a CNC machine right behind that!

Look for a new website soon too.  The web team is hard at work to create some new material.

Don't make me beg

I'll beg anyway.  We need funding in the worst way.  In order to keep the place warm for the winter, we'll be spending several hundred dollars on insulating materials and a 'new' furnace.  If you would like to help, please consider donating materials or using the button to your left.  This will strain our meager checking account.

It's Alive!

Our own Sam and Nate have been working to build a CNC machine from scratch.  It's been a lot of experimenting, but it's starting to look awesome, just check out this video:

Hi Again!

Definitely time for some more updates.  I've been neglecting the site in the cleanup and running-up of our new space!  It's not the prettiest thing in the world yet, but that is changing.

Our members have been busy moving, cleaning, and fixing up the space, in between their project time of course.

We have a couple of thing coming up this week.

New Space!

Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday, July 31st to help move the hackerspace to its new location:

 5363 Broadway Ave.
Cleveland, OH 44127

Projects!

Several new projects have been added and need your help!  While I generally have quite a few ideas for projects, and even materials for them, I don't always have the time to do them myself.  However, if you're willing to learn, they are fully open for you to do!
